White Caliburn Device
Special Edition White Caliburn Device
This is a passion project we've been working on since last year.
We've poured over every aspect of this device to bring you a new higher quality Caliburn.
Check out the other tabs to see what's new with our exclusive version of the Caliburn.
Specifically, we upgraded the power charging port on the device so that there were fewer issues down the road related to charging or the battery.
We also tweaked the sizing of the pod-bay so that we could always ensure a buttery smooth connection between the battery and the pods.
Piano Key Coating
It's like holding a piece of music!
It feels great, looks great, and is meant to last. This coating is perfect and keeps the device from showing a lot of wear and tear quickly.
All of the other Caliburn colors utilize an anodized metal coating which is great for deeper colors, but doesn't work for a white device. White shows dirt too easily with the metal anodized coating, and your pristine white device would quickly turn eggshell if we didn't figure out a better coating to use.
We wanted to use a coating that wasn't just pure gloss, it needed to feel nice to hold, not sticky. We needed something that was going to allow the white to come through nicely, and it needed to hold up to rough handling. Piano key coating was the answer.
What's the hype about?
- Great Flavor
- Long Lasting Pods
- Great Battery Life
- Solid Build Quality
How easy is it to Use?
Really Easy! The device is ready to go out of the box as it comes fully charged. No real instructions are needed as the device itself is very straightforward. Simply take the device out, remove the drip-tip from a pod, and fill it up with our handcrafted salt e-liquid. Let the liquid sit in the pod for about 5 minutes before beginning use on a fresh pod.
We believe in making vaping as easy and convenient as possible, and the caliburn fits the bill.
How long does the battery last?
Though the raw specs of the device's battery are not very impressive (especially when used to the specs of a sub-ohm device) you will find that in actuality the battery should last you most of a day if not an entire day. The caliburn has no taper-off so that means it will continue to hit as perfectly at 20% as it does at 100% charge.
The device itself charges from dead to full in about 15 minutes. From personal experience I can tell you that I need to charge my caliburns on average once a day even if I am chain vaping.
How long do the pods last?
On average you should be able to get roughly 3 weeks to a month on each caliburn pod when using our handcrafted salts.
When using regular commercial nic salts which contain high amounts of sucralose your mileage may vary.
What juice can I use with it?
Both Freebase And Nic Salt Juice Works With The Caliburn.
Optimal PG/VG Ratio for the Caliburn is around 60/40. Most commercial nic salt products are produced at a 50/50 ratio which might cause heavy leaking / spitback.
Feels 100% like a piano key finish, charging port definitely feels less “janky” and battery life seems to be better than the standard Black Caliburn. Would definitely recommend!
I really like the Caliburn series in the first place - the aesthetics and simple design of just one button works perfectly for me. It has the right amount of power for salt nic juices. The special edition white Caliburn raises the already good stylings of the standard Caliburn much higher. A medium gloss over a flawless white finish looks great. I will warn, however, the finish can chip more easily than any of the other Caliburns. That aside, I recommend the special edition white Caliburn as a great device for salt nic and is worth a few extra dollars for its style.
Don’t even think twice, just buy the piano white caliburn. And MONKEY JUICE. Done son.
Got it in record time...and I love feel of the exclusive piano white CALIBURN- much easier to find!! lol
I just want people to realize that the auto-draw timer is reduced on these when compared to a normal caliburn. It's a couple seconds shorter than the original. The result, for me, is a cooler vape and needing to chain a couple pulls together.
You can circumvent this by using the fire button. They dont list the cut-off, though, which annoys me. Instead, an increased battery life is listed as a "feature". Trust me, if you use the fire button to increase the draw to what you may be used to there's no increased battery life.
With that said, the pods do fit more snugly, which is very nice. The pods are still leaky, but that's not TBD's fault. (Even if you use their 60/40 salts) If you're weird you could stand your pod upright 100% of the time. Might help a tad, but I doubt it.
The charge port does feel much more sturdy, so hopefully it holds up over time.
The coating feels nicer, but the originals never bothered me.
Bottom line: Easily worth the couple extra bucks. Just be aware you may have to ditch the auto-draw depending on your preferred vape quality.
